 Jia Jia Le has 2-4 staff per location. With 400 meals and over 40 dishes to cook, it was not sustainable to cook every dish from scratch every day.

80% of dishes could be large-batch cooked enabled by the Rational SelfCookingCenter®, improving hygiene, quality and standard.

Having 40 dishes to prep on-site every day was not sustainable for the business.

With only 2-4 staff per location and having to serve over 400 meals, it was not sustainable for Jia Jia Le to cook all their dishes from scratch every single day. This was exhausting on the staff and would not be sustainable in the long run.

With the implementation of Rational’s SelfCookingCenter® in the main central kitchen, less workers were needed and more dishes could be cooked simultaneously, greatly increasing the efficiency of the cooking process.

With this increase in cooking efficiency, the quality of the food, as well as hygiene and standards of the food, could be enjoyed from any of Jia Jia Le’s 14 outlets islandwide.

With Rational’s SelfCookingCenter®, most of the cooking is done in the centralised kitchen before being delivered freshly to the outlets every day. As a result, the staff in each location had less dishes to cook every morning.

In addition, with large-batch cooking, the quality, standard and hygiene of the food served is more standardised, so customers can expect Jia Jia Le’s great-tasting food at any of their outlets. The food would taste the same regardless of which outlet they dined at.
